Marca College has created the Marca College Scholarship Program for deserving individuals that have the passions and dreams to embark on their new career that may need a helping hand.
Joe Chimenti Schorlarship Fund
Joe Chimenti, the founder of Marca College, came from humble beginnings and at the age of 16 started his journey in the beauty industry. He worked 3 jobs to pay for his education to become a hair stylist and consequently he understands the struggle to not have the funds to follow his dreams. His mission is to give back to the future of our industry by offering financial aid to deserving individuals. This will allow these recipients a chance to start in the amazing industry he loves and alleviate some of the financial burden they accrue during their educational journey.
Hairstyling Program
This scholarship includes tuition for the entire program, Pivot Point International Curriculum, Digital Textbooks and tools kit sponsored by DannyCo valued at over $3,000.
Barbering Program
This scholarship includes tuition for the entire program, Pivot Point International Curriculum, Digital Textbooks and tools kit sponsored by DannyCo valued at over $3,200.
Medical Esthetics Program
This scholarship includes tuition for the entire program, Pivot Point International Curriculum, Digital Textbooks and tools kit sponsored by Dermalogica valued at over $1,200.
Scholarship Requriements
- High school graduate
- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Passion for Hair + Beauty
- Registered at Marca College
Scholarship Submissions
Submit the following information to scholarships@marcacollege.ca for YOUR chance to win a Marca College Scholarship:
Video or Written Essay
A 500 – 750 word essay format or a 3 – 4 minute video essay explaining why you want to be in the beauty industry. Be sure to include why you deserve the financial aid and how education will help assist you in changing your life towards a career you are passionate about.
2 Reference Letters
2 reference letters by non-family members ( teacher, boss, fellow employee, etc.) who can speak to your character and integrity.
